The difference is not in the feature list

Almost every help desk has a queue, SLAs and reports. The difference shows up in how each one charges and in what gets left out. Below are the models side by side — with the source and the date of every figure.

  • Public vendor data
  • Researched in September 2026

The cost of AI

1,000 conversations a month

The same volume of automated support, under each billing model.

Intercom (Fin) Octadesk (WOZ) bFocus
How it charges US$ 0.99 per resolution 15 credits at R$ 0.35 per resolution Nothing: you pay the provider
1,000 conversations resolved ≈ R$ 5,350 ≈ R$ 5,250 ≈ R$ 200 with your provider
Who picks the model The vendor The vendor You, from 8 providers
Spending cap By contracted budget By credit bundle In R$, per conversation, user and product

Intercom: US$ 0.99 per resolution (intercom.com/pricing), converted at R$ 5.40 per dollar. Octadesk: 15 credits per WOZ resolution at R$ 0.35 per credit (octadesk.com/precos). bFocus: an estimate of around R$ 0.20 per conversation with a fast model, paid straight to the provider you choose — the real figure depends on the model and the size of your knowledge base. Consulted in September 2026.

For the tech team

What bFocus delivers to whoever integrates it

No comparison here: just our side, with the name of each package so you can check it on the registry.

Official SDKs in 7 languages

Node, Python, PHP, .NET, Java, Go and Ruby, published on npm, PyPI, Packagist, NuGet, Maven Central, Go modules and RubyGems, with open source code on GitHub.

Native widget on 9 platforms

Flutter, iOS, Android, React Native, .NET, Java, Python, Delphi (from 7 to the latest) and Lazarus — tickets, AI agent, chat and release notes inside the app.

Error capture in 9 packages

The Monitoring add-on: browser, Node, Python, PHP, .NET, Java, Go, React Native and Flutter, published on each language’s registry. The error becomes a bug task in Projects and shows up on the ticket of whoever hit it — with no hand-built integration between two tools.

Public API with OpenAPI

The spec is generated from the code and served by the API itself, with an interactive reference to try every call.

We make no claim about what other vendors offer on these four points, because we have not surveyed it with a source. The packages and docs are on the Developers, Native apps and Monitoring pages.

How to compare

Three questions that prevent regret

How much does growth cost?

Run the price with the team you will have in two years, not the one you have today. That is where per-user billing shows up.

Whose AI is it?

Ask which model runs, whether you can swap it and how much each resolution costs. If the answer is vague, the bill will be too.

What is not in the price?

Onboarding, extra users and integrations tend to arrive after you sign. Also ask how the WhatsApp channel is billed: in bFocus it runs on bZapper, with a plan you sign up for there.

Questions about this comparison

Why is the bFocus price missing from this table?

Because our own table is being updated and we would rather not publish a number that changes the following week. As soon as it is live, it shows up here and on the pricing page, with the same source.

Did you pick the weakest competitors?

We picked the ones most used in Brazil with customers of the same size. Where a competitor is better, we say so: TomTicket, for example, is simpler to get started with, and Movidesk has been in the market longer.

Could the data be out of date?

It could. Every block carries the date of the research and the address of the page we consulted. If you find something wrong, write to us and we will fix it.
